Computerised Dermoscopy is a painless, non-invasive imaging process that provides an image into a mole, allowing the clincian to view layers of the skin below the surface and detect changes not visible to the naked eye.

Diagnosis

Early diagnosis of malignant melanoma helps prevent spread and improves cure rates. Dermoscopy also helps identify benign moles and reduces biopsy rates and avoids unnecessary scarring. Click here for a larger image.

High quality imaging

The high quality dermoscopic images are stored and can be retrieved so that the doctor can track any changes quickly and accurately. In this way, the doctor can identify moles that are beginning to change from benign to malignant and remove them before they become a danger. Click here for a larger image.

Risk Analysis

The image is analysed using intelligent software that provides a colour-coded risk analysis of the mole. Green indicates a normal mole, red indicates a risk of malignant melanoma. Click here for a larger image.
